Facial masks

Facial mask can be used for all skin types. They act against skin aging, strengthen, tone and nourish the skin. They smooth and detoxify, cleanse and soothe.

Preparation - mix a small quantity of clay in a non-metallic bowl with a wooden or plastic spatula (green clay should not come into contact with metal) with water at a ratio of approx. 1:1. Let the mixture rest for a while, and then prepare a denser paste. According to the desired thickness add more water or clay. To improve its efficiency, we recommend to use Saloos flower skin toner, or add 2-3 drops of a suitable 100% natural essential oil according to your skin type.
Apply on the face except for the area around the eyes and lips, leave on for aprox. 20-30 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry. When washing the mask away, a gentle exfoliating massage is also taking place.

After the treatment, the skin is left soft to the touch, calm, clean, giving a youthful appearance. The skin can sometimes react with undesired redness when using the clay mask. This is, however, a quite natural skin reaction.

As follow-up care, you may use one of the bio regenerating facial oils depending on your skin type.

Body masks

Body mask is prepared in a similar way as the facial mask. Green clay is suitable as a body mask against skin aging. It nurtures, stretches, regenerates and cleanses the skin. Body mask may be used on the neckline area, as well as on the neck, stretch marks, thighs, abdomen and back. It is also suitable for skin problems such as acne, psoriasis and eczema. If used on skin prone to dryness, it is recommended to add a few drops of quality cold-pressed vegetable oil to moisturize the skin, for instance almond, bio argan or borage oils.

Wraps and cladding

Clay can also be used to make warm or cold wraps and cladding applied on problematic areas, and used on rheumatic problems or as skin detoxification method.

Preparation - create a dense clay paste by mixing clay with cold or warm water, apply with spatula on a piece of cloth in a thick layer of aprox.1-2 cm. Place the wrap on the problematic spot, you may cover the wrap with a cling film. Leave at least for1 hour or all night. Then rinse thoroughly.

Baths

Mix 3-4 tablespoons of clay in the bath with warm water. You may also add 1-2 tablespoons of quality bath oil. Enjoy a purifying and relaxation procedure for approximately 20 minutes. Bath with clay has a moisturising and relaxing effect on a dry and extremely dry skin prone to skin problems. Partial baths for feet and hands are also possible.
